Prime Minister Modi had a busy schedule in Dubai, where he met several world leaders during COP 28.
Among them were UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Barbados counterpart Mia Amor Mottley, French President Emmanuel Macron, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
These meetings provided a platform for discussions on various global issues and collaborations between India and these countries. It showcased a diverse range of diplomatic engagements, highlighting the importance of international cooperation for addressing challenges and building stronger partnerships.

During their discussions, Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude for Italy’s support during India’s G20 Presidency and their participation in initiatives like the Global Biofuel Alliance and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor. The leaders commemorated 75 years of diplomatic relations and reviewed progress in the India-Italy Strategic Partnership, emphasizing collaboration in areas like defense and new technologies.
