On Tuesday morning in western Thailand, a bus crashed, leading to a tragic incident. Sadly, 14 people lost their lives, and more than 30 others were injured. The bus was on its way from Bangkok to Songkhla province, carrying 49 passengers. The accident happened near Hat Wanakorn National Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, situated along the coast between the Gulf of Thailand and Myanmar.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but a local police official mentioned the possibility that the driver might have fallen asleep. The driver, who survived the accident, is undergoing a blood test to determine more about the circumstances. Authorities are working to uncover the details of what exactly happened leading to this tragic incident.
It’s a heartbreaking situation, and the majority of the victims were Thai nationals, with a few from Myanmar. The injured individuals, numbering around 35, are currently receiving medical attention at local hospitals, as reported by the Sawang Rungrueang Rescue Foundation. The community is undoubtedly shaken by this unfortunate event.
