The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has just released the date sheet for the 2024 board exams for classes 10 and 12. They’ve gone the extra mile to make sure students don’t face the dilemma of having two exams on the same day, considering over 40,000 subject combinations. Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examinations, assured that they’ve taken this step to make things easier for students.

Let’s talk about the Class 10 schedule. The exams kick off on February 19 with Sanskrit, followed by Hindi on February 21. English takes the stage on February 26, Science on March 2, Social Science on March 7, and finally, Mathematics Standard and Basic on March 11. The exam times start at 10:30 AM (IST).

Moving on to the Class 12 schedule, it’s quite a comprehensive list. Things kick off on February 15 with subjects like Entrepreneurship, Kokbook, Capital Market Option, and Physical Activity Trainer. Hindi core and Hindi elective take their turn on February 19. English core, English elective, and English Elective CBSE (Functional English) are up on February 22. Chemistry, Geography, Biology, Political Science, Accountancy, Business Studies, Business Administration, History, and Sociology follow in the subsequent days until April 1. Again, the exams start at 10:30 AM (IST).

The CBSE has been considerate of students’ preparation time, releasing the date sheet well in advance. This should give everyone ample time to gear up for the exams. It’s a thoughtful move to ensure that students can focus on one subject at a time without the added stress of overlapping exam dates. Good luck to all the students gearing up for these exams!
