Giving a big decision regarding Shri Krishna’s birthplace, the Allahabad High Court has accepted the petition of the Hindu side and issued an order for survey of the disputed premises of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah in Mathura. For this, the court has also ordered to appoint a court commissioner. Meanwhile, the arguments of the Muslim side represented by the Waqf Board where it had claimed, had claimed that the petition of the Hindu side was not maintainable, were rejected.
This decision has been given by the single bench of Justice Mayank Kumar Jain of the High Court. After hearing this petition on November 16, the decision was reserved. On this day, 17 out of 18 petitions regarding the disputed premises were heard. All these petitions were shifted from Mathura District Court to Allahabad High Court for hearing.
After the decision of the High Court, now the Court Commissioner will survey the 13.37 acres of disputed land of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah. This survey will be similar to the Commissioner’s survey conducted in May 2021 in Gyanvapi, Varanasi. In this, the team of the Court Commissioner will go to the site in Mathura to collect evidence, and will then give the report to the court.
At the same time, after the court’s decision, Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain said that Allahabad High Court has accepted the application of the Hindu side, where they had demanded a survey of the disputed premises of Shahi Idgah. The modalities will be decided on December 18. He added that his demand was that there have been multiple pieces of evidence including signs and symbols of a Hindu temple in the disputed premises of Shahi Idgah, and an Advocate Commissioner is required to know the actual situation.
It is noteworthy that the disputed complex of Shahi Idgah was built by Aurangzeb in 1670. This disputed place is considered to be the birth place of Lord Shri Krishna. Just like the Ramjanmabhumi3. of Ayodhya, Hindus have been fighting for the birthplace of Shri Krishna for a long time.
