The NSC shared the earthquake details on social media, specifying that it occurred on the 15th of December 2023, at the mentioned time, with the coordinates being Lat: 29.65 and Long: 67.22. The quake’s depth was recorded at 10 km, and the epicenter was in Pakistan. However, more information is expected to follow.
Just a few days earlier, on Tuesday, tremors from another earthquake were felt in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The affected areas included Swat, Mingora, Lower Pir, Upper Dir, and nearby regions. Despite the panic that led people to rush out of their homes, initial reports indicated that there were no casualties or damage to property.
