Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, born on October 31, 1875, in Gujarat, played a crucial role in Bharat’s freedom struggle. He was a key figure in integrating over 500 princely states into the Bharat Union and served as the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of independent Bharat. Patel passed away on December 15, 1950, and posthumously received the Bharat Ratna Award in 1991.
