In a firecracker factory near Sattur in Virudhunagar district, there was a big explosion that resulted in a person named Shanmugaraja, aged 38, losing their life. The Fire and Rescue Department confirmed this tragic incident, stating that it happened on Friday.
The details revealed that Shanmugaraja was working with chemicals to make fireworks in one of the factory’s sheds when the accident occurred. The Fire and Rescue team promptly responded to the situation, putting out the fire that ensued. Unfortunately, Shanmugaraja’s body was recovered, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
