Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao, had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday. The focus of the discussion was on various schemes aimed at the development of the state. In a post on X, the CMO stated, “Today in New Delhi, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo met PM Narendra Modi. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma were also present.” Additionally, Vishnu Deo Sai himself shared insights on the meeting, expressing gratitude for a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister and highlighting the detailed discussion on public welfare schemes related to Chhattisgarh’s development, progress, and public interest.
Vishnu Deo Sai, in his post on X, quoted, “Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the double engine government of BJP will establish new dimensions of service, good governance, public welfare, and development in the state.” This emphasizes the commitment to implementing effective governance and developmental initiatives in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of the BJP government.
The meeting wasn’t limited to the Prime Minister alone; Chief Minister Sai, along with the Deputy Chief Ministers, also had a courtesy meeting with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Vice President’s residence in New Delhi. The Chief Minister expressed admiration for Dhankhar’s excellent ideas and knowledge of the constitutional process, terming them impressive.
Vishnu Sai, who recently took the oath of office at Science College Ground in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur on December 13, has a notable political history. Having won four consecutive Lok Sabha elections from the Raigarh constituency from 1999 to 2014, his experience adds depth to the leadership in Chhattisgarh.
