In a shocking incident in Jaipur’s Jawahar Circle area, a woman lost her life, and her friend sustained severe injuries after being allegedly hit by a car following a heated exchange at a hotel. The tragic event occurred between 5:30 am and 6 am on Tuesday outside a hotel on Girdhar Marg in the Jawahar Circle police station area.
According to Dalbeer Singh, the station house officer of the local police station, the accused, identified as Mangesh, attempted to crush a young man, Rajkumar, and a girl, Uma Suthar, with his car. Tragically, Uma lost her life in the incident, while Rajkumar suffered injuries. The accused, Mangesh, is currently on the run.
The altercation began when Mangesh, along with his girlfriend, was having drinks at the hotel. After some time, they started making comments about Uma. When Rajkumar objected to this behavior, Mangesh claimed to already know him. The situation escalated, leading to a heated confrontation in front of the hotel. Mangesh left momentarily but returned later in his car, driving over Rajkumar and Uma.
A case has been registered against the accused under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder). The local police are actively investigating the incident and examining CCTV footage to gather more information.
The incident has left the community in shock, and the authorities are working diligently to apprehend the accused and bring justice to the victims. Further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
