Unfortunately, one passenger lost their life on the spot, and 24 others sustained serious injuries. The injured were initially treated at the local Community Health Centre, with six critically injured individuals being transferred to the Trauma Center in Lucknow for specialized care.
The immediate response of authorities aimed at clearing the wreckage and offering support to the injured. An ongoing investigation is underway to determine the precise cause of the collision.
It’s noteworthy that the region was shrouded in near-zero visibility due to the dense fog on the day of the incident, emphasizing the challenging conditions faced by drivers and contributing to the tragic event.
