As the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas rages, the Israeli military stated that the air force and the navy struck cells of the terror operatives and infrastructure throughout the Gaza Strip. It stated that over the past few days, the military eliminated dozens of terror operatives with the assistance of the Air Force. The troops have also destroyed two buildings in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza while confiscating large amounts of military equipment including bombs, guns, and communications equipment.
Israeli military tank fire and aerial bombing struck the Khan Younis area in the Gaza Strip on Friday night intending to dismantle the Hamas terrorist’s infrastructure. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that Israeli troops have destroyed the tunnel complex in the basement of one of the houses of the prominent Hamas leader of Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.
Meanwhile, as Israel continues to step up bombing in central Gaza, tens of thousands of Palestinians have fled to the southernmost end of Gaza in recent days, according to the United Nations. The war-torn nation has also warned the Lebanese government and the international community to restrain Hezbollah from carrying out strikes against Israel, adding that if they don’t, Jerusalem will.
Shockingly, the New York Times has detailed the systematic sexual violence against Israeli women and girls employed by Hamas terrorists during its unprecedented October 7 rampage through Southern Israel. The report identified nearly seven locations across southern Israel where women and girls were sexually abused or mutilated. The publication uncovered devastating testimony and information on the systematic targeting of women and girls during Hamas’ onslaught in Israel.
Notably, South Africa on Friday lodged a case against Israel in the United Nation’s court accusing it of genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza and asked the top court to direct Jerusalem to halt its attacks.
Since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas, South Africa has been a strong critic of Israel’s counter-offensive against Gaza, however, it neglected Hamas’ brutal assault on Israel which led to several innocent Israelis being killed, injured, and taken as hostages.
