Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not heeded to the repeated summons by the Enforcement Directorate in connection to the excise policy. This will be the third time that the Delhi Chief Minister will be disregarding the probe agency’s summons, sources said.
Despite calling the notice as ‘illegal’, Kejriwal agreed to co-operate with the ED. However, the AAP party has raised concerns that the ED plans to arrest Kejriwal and prevent him from campaigning for the upcoming elections.

Notably, this was the third time that Kejriwal was called in for questioning in relation to the excise case which is being probed both by the ED and CBI. The first and second summons were issued on November 2 and December 21 respectively.
Section 144 has been imposed by the Delhi Police around the probe agency premises to maintain law and order situation.
Reacting to Kejriwal skipping the summons, BJP National President Shhzad Poonawala said that it shows he is trying to hide something.
