In a notable development, Tamil Nadu BJP leader Arjunamurthy met with superstar Rajinikanth to extend an invitation on behalf of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra. Arjunamurthy invited Rajinikanth and his family to the grand Ram Mandir consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22 in Ayodhya. Expressing his excitement, Arjunamurthy shared the news on his social media, describing the meeting with Rajinikanth as the best experience of his life.
The BJP leader also highlighted that other senior actors and filmmakers have been invited to the Ayodhya Kumbabhishek event. Notable personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rohit Shetty, and producer Mahaveer Jain are among those on the guest list. South Indian celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, and Rishab Shetty have also received invitations for the auspicious occasion.
Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, expressed positivity about artists attending the event, stating that it is a good thing for them to be present. He mentioned that all artists, including those invited and others like Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan, will be warmly welcomed in Ayodhya during the ceremony.
The consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22. The event is expected to draw high-profile dignitaries from around the world. The temple trust has advised devotees to avoid traveling to Ayodhya on the day of the ceremony to ensure smooth proceedings.
