In a recent speech at the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Bharat Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized Bharat’s growing influence on the global stage. He highlighted that the world sees Bharat as a key pillar of stability, a trustworthy friend, and a partner committed to people-centric development. Modi expressed Bharat’s role as a voice for the Global South and a proponent of global well-being.
During the summit held in Gandhinagar, Prime Minister Modi welcomed the participation of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed as the chief guest, considering it a significant symbol of the strengthening relations between Bharat and the United Arab Emirates. He underlined the importance of such collaborations in fostering global growth and cooperation.
The leaders exchanged warm greetings, emphasizing their strong bond. The summit, celebrating “20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat,” includes participation from 34 partner countries and 16 organizations, with a focus on global topics like Industry 4.0, Technology and Innovation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydrogen, Electric Mobility, Renewable Energy, and Sustainability. The event showcases investment opportunities, with a roadshow in Ahmedabad drawing large crowds to welcome the leaders.
Modi also noted the historical context of the summit, marking it as the first in Bharat’s “Amrit Kaal” or the period following the recent 75th anniversary of independence. He explained that Bharat is now focused on its goals for the next 25 years, aiming to become a developed country by the time it celebrates its centennial of independence.
Highlighting the global significance of the event, the Prime Minister mentioned that representatives from over 100 countries are actively participating in the summit, portraying them as crucial partners in Bharat’s developmental journey. He praised their role in shaping Bharat’s future and contributing to the nation’s growth and progress.
The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, taking place from January 10-12 in Gandhinagar, follows the theme “Gateway to the Future.” It boasts the participation of 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations, celebrating “20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success.” The summit, initially launched in 2003 under PM Modi’s leadership as the state chief minister, has evolved into a significant platform for global engagement and collaboration.
