In a momentous occasion at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex in Ayodhya, the recitation of Yajurveda verses commenced on Thursday and is scheduled to continue for the next four days. A total of 101 Veda Pathis have been invited to participate in the chanting, with two dedicated pavilions constructed for the Yajurveda recitation within the Ram Mandir complex. The belief surrounding this recitation is that it helps eliminate negative energies, making it a crucial precursor to any spiritual Vedic activities at the location.
Notably, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth announced that on January 22, ‘Pran Partishtha Day,’ approximately 100 chartered planes will land at the Ayodhya airport for the monumental occasion. The chief minister highlighted the significance of this event, indicating that it will also serve as a test for evaluating the Ayodhya airport’s potential.
The main event, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple, is scheduled for January 22. Vedic rituals for the ceremony will commence on January 16, a week before the main installation. A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, has been entrusted with the responsibility of performing the main rituals for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.
Celebrations in Ayodhya will span from January 14 to January 22, marking the Amrit Mahotsav. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla at the grand temple on January 22, underscoring the national significance of the event.
During his recent visit to Ayodhya on Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of cleanliness. He directed officials to implement the ‘Kumbh model of cleanliness,’ ensuring that Ayodhya, also known as ‘Ramnagari,’ presents itself as the cleanest and most beautiful city. The directive includes a mandate to keep roads dust-free and maintain daily cleanliness of public toilets.
