In a symbolic gesture of cultural exchange, the Israeli Consul General to Mumbai, Kobbi Shoshani, visited the historic Shree Ram Mandir in Wadala, Mumbai. During the visit on Monday, he expressed his anticipation for an upcoming trip to Ayodhya. In a statement, Shoshani shared his excitement, stating, “Looking forward to visiting Ayodhya very soon. For today, I visited the historic Shree Ram Mandir in Wadala, Mumbai.”
Israeli Envoy Naor Gilon Extends Greetings and Anticipates Ayodhya Visit
On the same day, the Israeli envoy to Bharat, Naor Gilon, also marked the auspicious occasion of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha. Gilon posted a picture of himself with a model of the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Mandir, expressing heartfelt greetings to the people of India. He conveyed his eagerness to witness the grandeur of the actual Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, believing it would surpass the beauty of the model he had.
Prime Minister Modi Joins Pran Pratishtha Ceremony in Ayodhya
Meanwhile, in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ramlalla at the newly-constructed Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. Arriving earlier in the day, PM Modi described the event as a “divine moment” in a tweet, expressing his gratitude at being part of this unique program. The ceremony was attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Architectural Marvel of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir Unveiled
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, constructed in the traditional Nagara style, stands as a testament to architectural splendor. With dimensions of 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and a height of 161 feet, the temple is supported by 392 pillars and adorned with 44 doors. The intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities on the pillars and walls add to its magnificence. The main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor houses the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, represented by the idol of Shri Ramlalla.
Mandir Features Five Halls and Historic Elements
The main entrance, located on the eastern side, is accessed by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. The Mandir comprises five halls, including Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap. Notably, the Mandir complex also features a historic Well known as Sita koop, dating back to ancient times. In the southwestern part of the complex, at Kuber Tila, the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored, accompanied by the installation of a statue of Jatayu.
