In a momentous celebration, billionaires, tech titans, and business leaders joined the inauguration of the Ram temple at Ayodhya. Corporate India marked the occasion by granting leaves to staff and organizing special prayers to commemorate the consecration of the Ram Mandir. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony saw the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol, conducted with hour-long rituals in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who led the ceremony. Accompanying him were RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inside the sanctum during the rituals.
Chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ echoed through the air as devoted attendees and guests participated in the ceremony. Prime Minister Modi, addressing the gathering, noted the nationwide celebration, drawing parallels to Diwali. He mentioned the anticipation of every household lighting the ‘Ram Jyoti’ in the evening.
The ceremony saw the presence of several prominent figures spanning various fields, including industrialists, politicians, actors, and sports personalities. Noteworthy among them were the tech titans and business leaders with significant shares in the technology and telecom industry.
Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani, attended the event with his family, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.
Anil Ambani, head of the Reliance Group, also participated in the celebration, adding to the corporate representation.
Sunil Mittal, the founder and chairman of Bharti Airtel, graced the ceremony with his presence, showcasing the unity of business leaders in celebrating cultural and religious milestones.
Lakshmi N Mittal, Chairman and CEO of Arcelor Mittal, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairperson of Aditya Birla Group, and Prashant Ruia, Director of Essar Capital, were also among the distinguished attendees.
Tech leaders made their mark at the event, with the presence of Srihar Vembu, CEO of Zoho, and Nishant Pitti, co-founder and CEO of EaseMyTrip. Ritesh Agarwal, the founder and group CEO of OyoRooms, added to the diverse gathering of influential personalities celebrating the Ram temple inauguration.
