Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a reply to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address. During his address, he stated, “The Congress responsible for the condition of the opposition today”.
PM Modi was in Parliament giving a response to the Motion of Thanks on President’s Droupadi Murmu’s joint address last week.
Talking about the “Vocal for Local” and Vande Bharat initiatives, PM Modi said the opposition has said ‘cancel’ to everything. He also said, “These are not my achievements but the nation’s”. PM Modi hit at former Finance Minister Chidambaram and said, “Chidambaram saw Bharat as the third largest country in 30 years. We have done it for 10 years. In my third term, we will be the third largest, Congress forgot how to see dreams”.
Talking about culture, he stated, “If we say Vande Bharat train, Congress says cancel, if we say Make in India, they say cancel. How long will you keep this hatred within you ?

Taking an indirect jibe at Rahul Gandhi and his party PM Modi said, “They are trying to launch the same product again and again”. He also cornered Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and asked rhetorically, “How long will you divide this country”. He raised the issue of Nepotism in Parliament and stated, “Nation suffered due to dynastic politics. Ghulam Nabi Azad was also a victim of Parivarvad”.
The Prime Minister highlighted how Former Prime Minister Pt Nehru thought Bharatiyas to be lazy and that Indira Gandhi was no different than him. He also said that the Opposition has lost the courage to fight in the elections.
