National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shared a wonderful picture of the moon.
NASA revealed a view of the moon in its waning crescent phase. This is the phase, where the moon becomes visible as a slender arc and reveals the beauty of its far side, a side which is hidden from the direct view of Earth.
WHAT IS MOON’S WANING CRESCENT PHASE ?
The crescent marks the final stage before the lunar cycle restarts with the new moon. The crescent phase of the moon happens when the illuminated part of the moon visible from Earth decreases each night. It looks like a slender crescent shape, with the illuminated part shrinking until the moon becomes completely unclear from view during the new moon phase.
