Throughout the term of this Lok Sabha, decisions that many generations had been waiting for were taken. Mention was made of the abrogation of Article 370 during this term, and the satisfaction was expressed about bringing social justice to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Strict laws against terrorism were formed to address the thorn of terrorism.
The principle of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’ was discussed, emphasizing the belief that the government should stay away from the lives of the people, contributing to the strengthening of democracy.
The last five years were noted for game-changing reforms that will lay the foundation of a strong India. The productivity of the 17th Lok Sabha was stated to be 97%, exceeding 100% in seven sessions.
Regarding elections, it was mentioned that they are not far, and some might be nervous, but it was emphasized as an essential aspect of democracy. The belief was expressed that elections will increase the pride of the country and follow the democratic tradition.
The fact that the country lived with the Penal Code given by the British for 75 years was acknowledged, and it was stated with pride that the next generation will live with Nyaya Sanhita, signifying true democracy.
The importance of the next 25 years for the country was highlighted, with a recognition that while political activities have their place, the aspirations, expectations, dreams, and resolve of the country are focused on achieving the desired results in these 25 years.
