Furthermore, PM Modi outlined the priorities of his government in Bharat, emphasizing social and financial inclusion. He noted that the government’s focus has led to the connection of over 50 crore people, who previously lacked bank accounts, to the banking system in India. This, in turn, has propelled the country into advancements in fintech and digital payments, with special emphasis on encouraging women-led development.
“The way Dubai is emerging as an epicenter of the global economy, commerce, and technology represents a splendid example before the globe,” PM Modi remarked, acknowledging the World Government Summit as a platform bringing together thought leaders from around the world. He expressed his appreciation for Dubai’s role as a significant hub.
PM Modi, who arrived in the UAE for a two-day visit, is scheduled to inaugurate the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Mandir in Abu Dhabi later today. The temple is the first Hindu stone temple in Abu Dhabi, marking a historic moment. Following this, he will depart for Qatar, continuing his diplomatic engagements.
