With Nepal being the latest country to link with UPI, Bharat’s powerful Unified Payments Interface has been now launched in seven countries across the globe. The State-owned Central banks of India and Nepal on Thursday signed agreements for the integration of the UPI and National Payments Interface (NPI). Due to consistent efforts by the Central Government towards strengthening the Indian economy, Bharatiyas can now make easy digital payments in countries like Mauritius, France, UAE, Singapore, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan.
