After a series of unexplained deaths of Indian-origin students in the US, the white house has for the first time acknowledged the recent attacks on Bhartiya and Bhartiya-origin individuals in the United States as it firmly stated that there is no excuse for violence based on race, gender, or any other factor.
The statement comes amid a recent surge in assault cases against the community across various parts of the United States. During a press briefing on February 15, John Kirby, the Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council, condemned the attacks, saying that this is unacceptable in the United States.
