Truckers who support Donald Trump are refusing to make deliveries to New York City after a judge ordered the former president to pay hefty penalties in a civil fraud case. Chicago Ray, a prominent conservative influencer and trucker, announced the boycott in a video shared on social media. He stated that many of his colleagues have decided to cease deliveries to NYC in protest of the Manhattan Supreme Court’s ruling.
Ray revealed in his video that he had spoken to several drivers over the radio who confirmed their intention to stop transporting goods to New York City, starting from the upcoming Monday. He mentioned that some of his associates had already informed their employers about their decision to avoid NYC routes. Ray emphasized that truckers are prepared to stand firm, stating that their bosses would not object to redirecting loads elsewhere.
Expressing frustration, Ray highlighted the challenges of navigating New York City’s intricate roadways with large trucks. He also suggested that a significant majority of truckers support Trump’s cause.

The ruling by Judge Arthur Engoron imposed substantial penalties on Trump and prohibited him from serving as a company director. Additionally, Trump faces restrictions on obtaining loans from New York state banks for up to three years. Trump expressed his intention to appeal the ruling, criticizing it as unjust and detrimental to the country.
The boycott initiated by truckers underscores the polarizing impact of legal actions against Trump. It reflects a broader sentiment among some segments of the population who perceive the ruling as unjust and are willing to take action to demonstrate their support for the former president.
Efforts to challenge the court’s decision are anticipated as Trump and his supporters seek to overturn the penalties imposed by the Manhattan Supreme Court. The repercussions of this legal battle extend beyond the courtroom, affecting various sectors and eliciting responses from individuals across the political spectrum.
