A recent lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court has brought forth shocking allegations against the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, accusing him of exploiting the mother of one of his victims who was suffering from a brain tumor. The lawsuit, filed by Danielle Bensky and another anonymous accuser, names two of Epstein’s closest advisers, Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, as defendants.
According to court documents, Bensky, an aspiring dancer, met Epstein in 2004 when she was paid to massage him at his New York mansion. Over time, Epstein allegedly coerced her into returning for more sessions, some of which involved sexual acts. Bensky felt intimidated by Epstein’s wealth and power, leading her to comply with his demands.
The lawsuit details how Epstein manipulated Bensky by exploiting her mother’s illness. Claiming to be knowledgeable about neurology, Epstein demanded to see her mother’s brain scans and promised medical assistance but with a condition – Bensky had to recruit other girls for him. He went as far as threatening to withhold medical treatment for her mother’s brain tumor if she didn’t comply with his demands.
Bensky describes feeling trapped in what she calls a “cult-like life” due to Epstein’s threats and the assistance he received from others involved in his sex trafficking scheme. The suit alleges that Indyke and Kahn were part of the financial infrastructure that facilitated Epstein’s sexual abuse of hundreds of victims over two decades.
In response to the lawsuit, Indyke and Kahn’s lawyer, Daniel Weiner, vehemently denied the allegations, stating that his clients were “extraordinarily surprised and disappointed” by the claims. Weiner emphasized that neither Indyke nor Kahn has been found guilty of any misconduct and firmly rejected the accusations leveled against them in the complaint.
The lawsuit adds to the extensive legal battles surrounding Epstein’s criminal activities, shedding light on the harrowing experiences of his victims and the alleged network of enablers who supported him. As the case unfolds, it underscores the ongoing efforts to seek justice for those affected by Epstein’s reprehensible actions.
