Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary efforts during a recent event in Varanasi, highlighting the global radiance of the city’s cultural glory. Adityanath credited PM Modi’s leadership for significant milestones like the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the inauguration of the first Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates.
Speaking at a prize distribution ceremony at Banaras Hindu University, Adityanath commended PM Modi’s dedication to the welfare of the people, citing his late-night inspection of development works in Varanasi as an example of tireless leadership. Adityanath emphasized PM Modi’s consistent bond with Varanasi as its Member of Parliament, noting how he elevates the city’s spiritual and cultural heritage on a global scale.
Later in the day, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for religious tourism development works worth Rs 101 crore at Seer Govardhanpur. Adityanath remarked on the significance of PM Modi’s visits to the site, particularly in revitalizing the holy shrine of Sant Ravidas. He announced plans for a grand memorial museum dedicated to Sant Ravidas, expected to be completed within the next three years.
Adityanath underscored PM Modi’s commitment to inclusive development, citing initiatives such as housing, sanitation, and healthcare under the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. He also praised PM Modi’s focus on honoring important cultural figures like Sant Ravidas and BR Ambedkar, highlighting the construction of Banas Dairy as a symbol of modern pilgrimage for farmers.
The UP CM emphasized the transformative impact of PM Modi’s initiatives on the lives of citizens, particularly in fostering prosperity while preserving faith and livelihoods. Adityanath noted the role of schemes worth thousands of crores in advancing the state’s development agenda and expressed gratitude on behalf of the nation for PM Modi’s leadership.
The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, state BJP president Bhupendra Singh, and other dignitaries, signaling widespread support for PM Modi’s vision and initiatives in Uttar Pradesh.
