Ayodhya witnessed a massive gathering of devotees on Saturday as thousands flocked to the newly inaugurated Ram temple to seek a divine darshan of Ram Lalla. The atmosphere around the temple was filled with reverence and devotion as people waited patiently in long lines for a glimpse of the deity.
Mohit Chauhan, one of the devotees, expressed his satisfaction after experiencing the darshan, describing it as peaceful and wonderful. He emphasized the magnificence of the temple and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness Lord Ram after 500 years. Chauhan praised the efficient management, highlighting the smooth flow of devotees facilitated by the authorities.
Anupa Nayak, another devotee from West Bengal, echoed similar sentiments, describing her experience as wonderful and peaceful. She encouraged others to visit the temple and praised the arrangements made for devotees, including transportation and facilities. Nayak expressed her intention to spread the word about the temple among her community back in Bengal.
Sanjay Mishra from Chennai shared his immense joy at being present at the temple, expressing gratitude for the spiritual experience. He praised the flawless security arrangements and the peaceful atmosphere prevailing around the temple. Mishra emphasized the overwhelming sense of devotion among the devotees, who joyously chanted ‘Ram Jai Shri Ram’ during the darshan.
Deep Kumar lauded the efficient management of the temple authorities, noting that despite the anticipated crowds, devotees could have darshan within just 20 minutes. He expressed admiration for the aura of reverence surrounding the temple and praised the government’s arrangements, including facilities for the safekeeping of belongings.
Earlier in the day, devotees also participated in holy rituals at Sangam in Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Magh Purnima. They took a sacred dip in the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers, offering prayers and seeking blessings.
Kalpavas, a spiritual ritual lasting one month, also concluded on this auspicious day. Devotees who observed Kalpavas engaged in austere practices and chants, seeking spiritual purification. Prabhadevi, a devotee from Mirzapur district, shared her spiritual journey, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to seek forgiveness and complete her Kalpvas at Sangam.
