Nitasha Kaul, a Bharatiya-origin UK based professor who was recently denied entry to Bharat and then deported back to London has claimed that she was denied entry because of her inclination towards democratic and constitutional values.
A series of long tweets on Kaul’s part revealed that the UK based professor was denied entry into Bharat and then was sent back to London from the Bengaluru airport based on orders from Delhi. According to her posts, she was invited by the Karnataka government to participate as speaker in the two-day ‘Constitution and National Unity Convention -2024’ organised on February 24 and 25.
Did Nehru take permission of ppl of Kashmir when he imposed article 370 on them?
NITASHA Kaul herself being a KP has the audacity to say this but then she looks like a BBC mouthpiece so what else is expected 🤷♀️ pic.twitter.com/uhhfofol2r— Curly Jeevi (@curlykrazy07) February 26, 2024
While her tweets opened floodgates of opinions on the microblogging site X, another important aspect which comes to the fore is that the swift action the Bharatiya government is taking while tackling the anti-bharat elements which have continuously used their voices and influential platforms in spreading misinformation, false narratives and self serving, separatists agendas against Bharat. This is not the first time Kaul is garnering public attention for all the wrong reasons. Previously, she had also been criticised for refusing to acknowledge the Kashmiri Pandits genocide, the ethnic cleansing of Hindus from Kashmir.
BJP Karnataka too addressed the issue and outrightly called Kaul a Pakistani sympathiser who wants to break Bharat. It also condemned the Congress ruled Karnataka government for trying to challenge the constitution and threaten the integrity of Bharat. It blamed the state government for misusing the taxpayers money to channel funds to “Terrorist-Sympathisers, Urban Naxals, Anti-Nationals, Riots-accused to destabilise India ahead of elections.”

Don't you have any shame left CM @siddaramaiah? Are you trying to challenge the constitution & threaten the unity & integrity of India?

Research from various social media handles suggests Nitasha Kaul, has links with personalities like Huma Dar, Athar Zia and Ghulam Nab Fai who have publicly called for breaking and disintegrating Bharat, and are associated with George Soros funded Equality Labs. A tweet revealed “Nitasha Kaul isn’t just visiting Indian academia, she’s part of Jindal Global Law School’s course line-up. Her course labelled Kashmir as ‘occupied.’ This is against the Constitution of India which terms Kashmir as an integral part of the country.”
For the unversed, Ghulam Nabi Fai is a UK based Kashmiri separatist who was convicted in a UK court of spying for the ISI. He was accused of funnelling USD 4 million ISI money into the US to influence the country’s Kashmir policy.
Born to Kashmiri Pandit parents, Kaul has been advocating for a separate Kashmir. Kaul in repeated instances has been found depicting people of Kashmir as victims, calling them political individuals with a voice. With refined tones in diction and language, she went on to portray the Indian government as authoritarian. In hindsight, Kaul, who touts herself as a voice of democratic principles, failed to comprehend that the Supreme Court of India upheld the abrogation of article 370, and has explicitly declared that Jammu Kashmir is an integral part of Bharat.

Significantly, this is not the first time that Bharatiya authorities took concrete steps towards individuals who in the name of free speech, expression and practising their democratic rights have tried to mar the sovereignty of the Bharat. Forgetting the multiple clauses to the Freedom of Speech they are using as a weapon. Recently, a few weeks ago, a French journalist Venessa Dougnac, in her own words, was forced to leave Bharat. Reason being she had been writing “malicious” articles which were harming “the interests of the sovereignty and integrity of India”. In fact, the French government has been in talks with Bharat for the same. Commenting on the issue, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra had highlighted that the “People are free to do what they are accredited to do in a given space. But here I think the principal issue is whether the person is compliant with the rules and regulations of the state under which they come.”
Nitasha Kaul in her tweets has described her overhaul at the airport as a humiliation, somewhat horrifying. Her continuous posting on the X reveals the self indulgent nature of her grievances, jumping and voicing all the atrocities she was subjected to.
The Indian government has cancelled at least 102 Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) cards between 2014 and May 2023. The recent developments show that Bharat indeed is standing strong in its truth, and that propaganda of misleading perceptions, subtle connotations, and elitist jargons will not suffice to bend facts.
