Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, refuted claims of tendering his resignation amidst a political crisis gripping the Congress government. Sukhu clarified his stance during an interaction with reporters, asserting that neither has he been asked for his resignation nor has he offered it to anyone.
Responding to speculations and challenges posed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sukhu conveyed confidence in proving the majority in the assembly. He expressed determination, stating, “We will win, the people of Himachal will win…”
The Congress administration in Himachal Pradesh faces instability as six of its MLAs switched sides, reportedly in communication with the BJP. Adding to the predicament, Vikramaditya Singh announced his resignation from the state cabinet, having discussed the matter with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
