In a fiery rally held in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the ruling DMK party, urging the people to vote for the BJP in the upcoming elections. He asserted that only the BJP can provide a strong and stable government for the country.
PM Modi accused the DMK of attempting to sow discord among the people, alleging that the opposition party, along with Congress, is fostering division. He emphasized BJP’s inclusive approach, stating that the party considers everyone as part of the national family.
The Prime Minister did not mince words in his criticism of the DMK, accusing them of harboring animosity towards Hinduism. He highlighted an incident where DMK members allegedly walked out during a parliamentary discussion on the Ram temple, which, according to PM Modi, demonstrates their disdain for Hindu beliefs.
Furthermore, PM Modi criticized the DMK-led state government for its lack of cooperation with central government schemes, implying that Tamil Nadu’s progress is hindered by the party’s obstructionism.
One of PM Modi’s key accusations was that the DMK takes credit for initiatives it hasn’t spearheaded. He pointed out instances where the party allegedly claimed achievements of government schemes by affixing its stickers and even went as far as falsely associating itself with Bharat’s space program successes.
The Prime Minister cited an advertisement featuring a photo of him alongside Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and a Chinese-flagged rocket, purportedly published by a DMK minister. He condemned the act as a display of the party’s allegiance to China over India’s interests.
In response to PM Modi’s allegations, DMK MP Kanimozhi questioned the portrayal of China as an enemy country and argued against the accusations of the party’s alignment with China. She also pointed out instances of diplomatic engagements between Bharat and China, suggesting a broader context to the relationship.
PM Modi reiterated BJP’s commitment to national unity and accused DMK and Congress of fueling division. He underscored the growing stature of Bharat globally under the BJP government, asserting that this elevation is a result of the party’s stable and robust governance.
As the political rhetoric intensifies in Tamil Nadu ahead of the elections, PM Modi’s rally remarks underscore the deepening animosity between the BJP and the ruling DMK, setting the stage for a fiercely contested electoral battle in the state.
