Nationwide uproar over Sheikh Shahjahan given VVIP treatment during his arrest from a house in Minakhan area of North 24 Parganas in Sandeshkhali on Thursday. BJP leader, Suvendu Adhikari launched a scathing attack on Mamata's govt saying "this is not arrest, but a mutual adjustment". "Justice is possible only if Central Agencies take him into custody". "He will be extended 5-star facilities during his time behind bars under Mamata's custody. He will have access to a mobile phone, through which he will be able to lead the Tolamool Party virtually". The Calcutta High Court directed CBI and ED on Tuesday that "they are free to arrest Shahjahan" . "The arrest was made owing to continuous pressure by the BJP and the victims of Sandeshkhali, compelling the Govt. to arrest Sheikh Shahjahan", says Sukanta Majumdar.
