The newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, mentioned the Kashmir issue in his first speech after taking oath and also spoke about the economic issue in the country.
He requested his country’s parliament to pass a resolution on the ‘freedom of Kashmiris and Palestinians’. In the National Assembly, Pakistan’s parliament he talked about passing a resolution.
‘Let’s all come together and the National Assembly should pass a resolution for the freedom of Kashmiris and Palestinians’, said Sharif.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Shehbaz Sharif spoke out against the country’s debt crisis. He stated that even the expenditures of the National Assembly were being paid by borrowed money.
Sharif said, ‘But if we decide to go for a deep surgery and bring changes in the system, basic reform and I have no doubt that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, and others will agree that we can either get rid of a life of debt or we move forward with heads down in shame’.
While addressing the financial crisis in the country, the PML-N leader highlighted that out of the Pakistani Rupees (PKR) Rs 12,300 billion generated by the country, Rs 7,300 billion is given to the provinces under the National Finance Commission award and the government faces a whopping Rs 7000 billion deficit due to services charges worth up to Rs 8,000 billion.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s politics is controlled by its Army and spy agency ISI, is in financial dire straits. It doesn’t have the financial stability to pay its fuel bills. The people of the country are facing severe inflation.
It secured a 3 billion dollar loan arrangement from the IMF last year. However, it’s still struggling to stabilize its economy.
