On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a 10-day visit to 12 states and union territories across the country to attend 29 inauguration and foundation stone laying programmes, ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
PM Modi began his visit from Telangana, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects related to the power, rail and road sectors worth more than ₹62,000 crore at a public programme in Adilabad followed by a public address.
He will later visit Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu and will address a public meeting in Chennai. Later, he will depart for Hyderabad.
The contribution made by the people of Telangana was never given due respect even after several decades post-independence. After 2014, the BJP Government at the Centre gave significance to the development of Telangana and the honour of the tribal community. Could anyone have imagined that a tribal woman would become the President of the country? Could anyone have imagined that the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda would be celebrated as a national festival? BJP Government formed a separate ministry for the development of tribals” says PM Modi.
In Adilabad, PM Modi says, ‘BJP is committed to the development of the nation. This is why, even the people of Telangana are saying, ‘Abki baar, 400 paar’.
