The latest attack has been carried out by Shi’ite Hezbollah faction in Lebanon, which has been responsible for attacking Israel with rockets, missiles and drones from north since the October 7 conflict in support of Hamas amid the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
The Israel Defence Forces said on Monday that they have struck a Hezbollah compound where members of the group were gathered in the southern Lebanon town of Chihine, in response to their continuous attacks in the region. The conflict which started on October 8, has resulted in the death of seven civilians and 10 IDF soldiers on the Israeli side.
