Condemning the attack on Indian nationals in war-torn Israel by Hezbollah, the Israeli embassy in India on Tuesday expressed that it was “deeply shocked and saddened” by the death of an Indian citizen and the injuries sustained by two others in a missile strike by Hezbollah in the northern village of Margaliot. The statement came after an Indian national hailing from Kerala was killed, while two others were injured on Monday after an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon struck an orchard near Israel’s northern border community of Margaliot. All the three individuals hailed from Kerala. The Israeli embassy in India affirmed on Tuesday that both the injured Indian nationals would be given the best treatment, and their families would be extended support and assistance.
