The National Investigation Agency officials who are probing the Rameshwaram Cafe have learned that the suspect bomber traveled to Ballari from where he boarded another bus heading to Gokarna.’
On Wednesday, NIA officials visited Ballari and with the cooperation of district police checked the CCTV camera footage installed in the New Bus stand and found the suspect getting down from a bus before boarding another.
According to the media sources, the suspect appears to have boarded the Mantralaya-Gokarna bus. The officials are yet to reveal where the suspect deboarded the bus.
A senior police officer from Ballari, told the media, “Please don’t spread any misinformation on the Rameshwaram Café blast case. A suspected person was found to have traveled to Ballari in a bus and then boarded another bus at the Ballari bus stand. He is the only suspected person. We checked the footage on Wednesday night. There is no need to jump to conclusions.

After exiting from the café, the suspects boarded a bus bearing registration number KA-01-F-4517 on the ITPL main road around 11.42 am on March 1. After entering the bus from the front door the suspect walks to the middle seats.
He turns back and spots a CCTV camera. Immediately he walked to the front seats where the camera surveillance was not there and continued his journey.
