Additional Solicitor General SV Raju told the Rouse Avenue Court that ‘Arvind Kejriwal is the main ‘Plotter’ in the Delhi liquor policy and he was directly involved in the implementation of the liquor policy’.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was produced in the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Friday. Investigative agency and Enforcement Directorate is expected to request for a 10-day custody.
Earlier, AAP ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj were arrested by the police during the party’s protest against Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest last night by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi liquor policy case.
Meanwhile on Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal withdrew from the Supreme Court his plea challenging arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
He was arrested by the investigation agency last night in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. Earlier today, the Supreme Court refused to entertain BRS leader K Kavitha’s bail plea who was arrested last week in the same case.
However, the court issued a notice on her plea challenging certain provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
