In a concerning development, a 36-year-old Nepali woman, Aarti Hamal, daughter of Gopal Hamal, mayor of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, has gone missing in Goa. Aarti, known for her practice of Osho meditation, had been residing in Goa for the past several months.
Mayor Gopal Hamal issued a heartfelt plea for assistance, stating that his daughter was last seen near Ashvem Bridge around 9:30 PM on Monday night. Expressing deep concern, he implored residents of Goa to aid in the search effort.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that Aarti’s younger sister, Arzoo Hamal, along with her son-in-law, have flown to Goa to join the search. Mayor Hamal has provided contact numbers urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in locating his missing daughter.
Adding to the distress, Arzoo Hamal disclosed on social media that numerous callers have reported sightings of Aarti near a bridge in Siolim. Some callers claimed she may have been taken to a hospital unconscious, while others suggested she was escorted to a police station. Despite the influx of information, clarity on Aarti’s whereabouts remains elusive.
In response to the alarming situation, Goa Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with Aarti’s disappearance, intensifying efforts to locate her.
