As the election campaign gains momentum in Tamil Nadu, all 39 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state are gearing up for polls on April 19. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to engage with Tamil Nadu BJP workers via the NaMo App in a session titled “Enathu Booth Valimaiyana Booth” at 5 PM on Friday.
In a recent post, Prime Minister Modi applauded the relentless efforts of BJP workers in Tamil Nadu for effectively communicating the party’s good governance agenda. Expressing his anticipation for the interaction, Modi highlighted the dedication of BJP workers in reaching out to the people across the state.
According to Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai, there’s a palpable wave of support for Prime Minister Modi in the state. Annamalai expressed confidence that the people of Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu would overwhelmingly vote for PM Modi on April 19, ushering in a new era of governance.
During the 2019 general elections, the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance secured a landslide victory in Tamil Nadu, winning 38 out of 39 seats. However, BJP leaders are optimistic about their prospects this time, aiming for a significant vote share and a substantial presence in the upcoming polls.
The voting for all 39 seats in Tamil Nadu will take place in the first phase on April 19, coinciding with the commencement of the general elections across the country. With nearly 97 crore eligible voters, the election will be conducted in seven phases, spanning several weeks.
