In a 12-hour-long rescue operation, the Indian Navy on Friday freed 23 Pakistani fishermen from the Somali pirates in the Arabian Sea. The rescue operation was initiated after the Indian Navy warship INS Sumedha caught the hijacked vessel “FV A1-Kambar” during the early hours of Friday, after which INS Trishul also swiftly joined to bolster the rescue operation.
