Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) success in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Speaking at a public meeting in Maharashtra’s Wardha, Adityanath highlighted the widespread belief among the public that “Ayenge to Modi hi,” indicating their anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return to power.
Adityanath emphasized the significance of Uttar Pradesh in the electoral landscape, being the state with the highest number of Lok Sabha seats (80). He noted the prevailing assurance among people in Uttar Pradesh towards supporting the BJP in the upcoming polls.
With the first phase of voting scheduled for April 19, Adityanath reiterated the prevailing confidence in BJP’s victory not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in Rajasthan. He remarked that this election stands out as one where the public seems already aware of the outcome, anticipating Modi’s return as the prime minister.
Reflecting on Modi’s leadership over the past decade, Adityanath credited him with elevating Bharat’s identity, respect, and security on the global stage. He highlighted achievements such as enhancing the value of the Bharatiya passport, securing the borders, and the revocation of Article 370 in Kashmir, which he deemed pivotal in countering terrorism.
Adityanath underscored the transformative impact of various government schemes such as Garib Kalyan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which have empowered millions across the country.
Moreover, Adityanath paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi’s historic connection to Wardha, where he spearheaded campaigns against foreign rule during the independence movement. He commended the people of Maharashtra for their contributions to India’s freedom struggle.
Shifting focus to Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath highlighted the significance of Ayodhya, where Lord Ram’s depiction has symbolized the dawn of a new India. He emphasized the cultural renaissance witnessed in Mathura and Vrindavan, marked by the celebration of Holi as Rangotsav, reflecting a vibrant and inclusive society.
