As the Israel-Hamas conflict marked six months since its initiation, Moran, a survivor of the October 7 attack, conveyed heartfelt appreciation towards India and its people for their unwavering support during challenging times.
Moran’s words underscore the deep bond shared between India and Israel, particularly evident in times of adversity.
“I see the Indian support that started much before, years before October 7 and after October 7,” Moran expressed, highlighting India’s enduring solidarity. He thanked Prime Minister Modi for the prominent coverage of Israel’s plight in the media, affirming India’s status as a true friend.
Moran’s gratitude extended beyond governmental aid, acknowledging the compassion and friendship shown by the Indian populace. “Thanks to the Indian people, who have always been and continue to be a good friend of ours,” Moran added, emphasizing the collective support from India.
Recognizing India’s role in amplifying Israel’s voice globally, Moran added, “Our voice cannot be everywhere. Everywhere. And we know that the Indian people are taking care of everything we need.”
Israel’s Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon, also lauded India’s resolute stance against terrorism since the outset of the conflict. He expressed gratitude for the Indian government’s unwavering support since the Hamas attack on October 7.
In an interview with ANI on January 30, Mr. Gilon acknowledged the “incredible support” from the Indian people amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Speaking about India’s stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict, Mr. Gilon praised Prime Minister Modi’s swift condemnation of the terror attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7.
