The Bharatiya Janata Party will release its manifesto-Sankalp Patra for the Lok Sabha polls on Sunday, with its plans on welfare and development besides a roadmap for Viksit Bharat expected to figure in its election agenda.
PM Modi and other senior leaders of the party are expected to attend the unveiling of the manifesto at the party headquarters which coincides with the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, a leader from the Dalit community and an architect of the Bharatiya Constitution.
As the BJP government has fulfilled most of its promises, including the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the repeal of Article 370. The BJP had appointed a manifesto committee headed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh that met twice to deliberate its content after the aprty had launched various exercises.
Notably, BJP is likely to include a promise of multiple high-speed rail or bullet train corridors in the Lok Sabha 2024 manifesto. The party is considering including several HSR projects as a key promise for the next five years.
