The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially released its manifesto, ‘Modi’s Guarantee 2024’, for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The document, also referred to as ‘Sankalp Patra’, outlines 14 promises aimed at various segments of society, particularly emphasizing women empowerment, youth upliftment, and support for the economically disadvantaged.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other senior party leaders, launched the manifesto at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. The event coincided with the birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar, a revered Dalit leader and the architect of Bharat’s constitution, adding significance to the occasion.

As the BJP government has already fulfilled several core promises, such as the construction of the Ram temple and the revocation of Article 370, attention now shifts to how the party’s broader cultural and Hindutva agenda is reflected in the manifesto.
The ‘Modi’s Guarantee 2024’ manifesto primarily focuses on addressing the needs of youth, women, farmers, and the economically disadvantaged, aligning with PM Modi’s oft-repeated rhetoric regarding these four societal “castes”.
With the upcoming census and delimitation exercises, observers are keen to see if the BJP addresses concerns raised by southern states regarding the process. Additionally, the party has reiterated its support for the ‘one-nation one-election’ concept, aiming for electoral reform.
Population control measures and the Uniform Civil Code, ongoing initiatives in some BJP-governed states, are expected to feature prominently in the manifesto, reflecting the party’s continued engagement with these issues on a national scale.
