On April 14, 1891, in Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, a towering figure in Indian history, was born. Known as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and the first Law Minister of independent India, his legacy is celebrated annually on Ambedkar Jayanti. Ambedkar devoted his life to eradicating social discrimination against the untouchables and advocating for the rights of women and workers. As the first Dalit to earn a doctorate in economics from abroad, he amassed several degrees, including in law and economics, becoming a prominent political figure.
