In a recent rally held in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah made strong statements reaffirming the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) commitment to preserving reservations in Bharat. Shah emphasized that as long as the BJP remains in politics, they will staunchly defend the reservation system, preventing any attempts by the Congress to abolish it.

Addressing the crowd, Shah emphasized the significance of the upcoming elections, urging voters to support the BJP. He invoked the Mahadev betting app scandal, which shook Chhattisgarh, urging voters to vote for the BJP symbol (lotus) with conviction, ensuring a resounding victory.

Shah criticized the Congress, accusing them of engaging in corrupt practices and scams, including the Mahadev betting app scam, which allegedly involved misappropriation of funds amounting to ₹508 crore. He accused former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel of involvement in various scams during the Congress rule in Chhattisgarh, ranging from coal to liquor scams.

Continuing his attack on Baghel, Shah highlighted the BJP’s efforts to combat Naxalism in Chhattisgarh. He credited the BJP-led government with intensifying the fight against Naxalism and claimed significant progress in neutralizing Naxal forces in the region.

Shah also outlined the BJP’s vision for governance, promising the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code and the introduction of ‘One Nation, One Election’ if Prime Minister Narendra Modi secures a third term. He invoked the legacy of Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to upholding the spirit of the Constitution.

Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, Shah claimed significant strides in countering Naxalism nationwide under PM Modi’s leadership. He pledged to eradicate Naxalism from Chhattisgarh within three years if given another term, citing the success of the BJP-led government in curbing the menace in other parts of the country.

In conclusion, Shah’s rally in Khairagarh served as a platform for the BJP to reaffirm its commitment to social justice through the preservation of reservations, while also attacking the Congress for alleged corruption and inefficiency in governance. The rally provided a glimpse into the BJP’s election strategy, focusing on development, security, and governance reforms under the leadership of PM Modi.
