After weeks of anticipation, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has finally revealed the first product from her much-awaited lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
Markle teased the launch of her brand on March 14 through a dedicated website and Instagram page, keeping her followers intrigued. Now, the veil has been lifted, and it’s none other than a delicious strawberry jam.
Each jar of this artisanal jam carries a personal touch, with Meghan herself numbering them by hand. Tracy Robbins, a designer, expressed her delight on Instagram after receiving a jar nestled in a basket of lemons, saying, “Thank you for the delicious basket! I absolutely love this jam so not sure I’m sharing with anyone. Thank you M!” Robbins’ jar was numbered “17 of 50,” highlighting the exclusivity of the product.
Notably, Delfina Blaquier, an Argentine socialite and influencer who attended Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding in 2018, was also among the privileged recipients of the jam. Sharing her joy on social media, Blaquier exclaimed, “Strawberry jam makes me happy,” while tagging the official Instagram handle of American Riviera Orchard.
While the Duchess hasn’t unveiled the full range of offerings from her lifestyle brand, a trademark application filed last month provides insight into potential future products. The application includes a variety of edible delights such as jams, marmalades, spreads, butter, sauces, tea, and coffee.
Moreover, it hints at a diverse array of products including bath and shower gels, fragrance sachets, body lotions, cosmetics, pet shampoo, stationery, books, tableware, linens, and yoga mats, according to Today.
Meghan Markle’s foray into the lifestyle brand arena marks a significant step in her post-royal life. With her dedication to quality and personalization evident in the debut of American Riviera Orchard, enthusiasts eagerly await the unveiling of further offerings from the Duchess’s venture.
