The embassy has been actively coordinating relief measures in collaboration with Bharatiya community organizations.

In a post shared on X, the embassy highlighted their ongoing efforts, stating that they are continuously in touch with UAE authorities and airlines to aid stranded passengers.

The embassy reassured the public that helpline numbers will remain operational until normalcy returns. This commitment aims to ensure that those in need of assistance can easily reach out for help.

Furthermore, the embassy pledged to maintain their dedication to serving the Bharatiya community residing in or traveling to Dubai and the Northern Emirates during this challenging time.

Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have issued advisories urging residents to stay indoors due to the severe weather conditions. Large parts of the region experienced heavy rainfall, hail, and thunderstorms, prompting concerns for public safety. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has warned residents of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah to prepare for unsettled weather over the next 48 hours.

Reports indicate that heavy to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, has been observed across the UAE. Adverse weather conditions are expected to persist, with convective clouds forming over coastal areas, particularly in the north and east of the country.

The weather department has advised residents to exercise caution and stay updated on weather alerts to ensure their safety.

Despite the challenges posed by the inclement weather, the Bharatiya Embassy in Dubai remains committed to providing support to the Bharatiya community. Through their proactive efforts and collaboration with local authorities and organizations, they aim to alleviate the difficulties faced by stranded passengers and ensure the well-being of those affected by the adverse weather conditions.
