In the Korba public rally, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed the security situation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He lauded the government’s efforts, stating that today, even if a firecracker explodes anywhere in Bharat, Pakistan denies involvement, fearing swift retaliation from the forces of “New Bharat.”
CM Yogi said, “During Congress government, people died of hunger, farmers committed suicide, the youth migrated, daughters and businessmen were unsafe, terrorists could infiltrate into the country and would explode bombs anywhere. But today, even if a firecracker burst, Pakistan starts giving explanations that it wasn’t involved because it knows if it is found involved in any attack, the forces of New India will infiltrate into its territory and attack.”

Adityanath compared the current scenario under the Modi government to the challenges faced during the Congress-led administration before 2014. He highlighted issues such as hunger-related deaths, farmer suicides, youth migration, and concerns about safety for women and businessmen.
CM Adityanath asserted that under the previous government, terrorists could infiltrate the nation and carry out attacks with impunity, contrasting sharply with the current robust security measures.
Chhattisgarh, with 11 parliamentary constituencies, is gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections in phases. The first phase saw voting in the Bastar constituency, with the second phase scheduled for April 26 in Rajnandgaon, Mahasamund, and Kanker.
The remaining seven constituencies, including Korba, will vote on May 7. Saroj Pandey is the BJP candidate from Korba, with the BJP leaders, including Adityanath, emphasizing the government’s achievements in the run-up to the elections.
The BJP’s campaign strategy appears to focus on highlighting the Modi government’s track record on security and development ahead of the crucial elections. Adityanath’s remarks at the rally underscored the party’s narrative of a stronger, safer Bharat under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
As the process of election unfolds, the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to secure victory in Chhattisgarh. With the election set to conclude on June 1 and results declared on June 4, the political landscape in the state remains dynamic, with parties vying for voter support and public trust.
