In Ukrainian-controlled territory, the village of Udachne, located about 45 kilometers from the frontline, was struck by Russian forces, resulting in three fatalities and extensive damage to infrastructure and private residences, as reported by the region’s governor, Vadim Filashkin.
Moreover, in Kurakhivka, three more people lost their lives due to the conflict, according to the regional prosecutor’s office. Meanwhile, in Russian-held areas, a Ukrainian drone attack claimed the lives of two individuals in the southern Zaporizhzhia region, leaving their children orphaned.
In response, Ukrainian artillery fire targeted Russian-occupied parts of the southern Kherson region, resulting in two additional casualties, as confirmed by officials.

The Donetsk region has become the focal point of the conflict, with both Russia and Ukraine asserting claims over its sovereignty. Thursday saw further violence as a Russian attack on a railway station in the northeastern Kharkiv region left at least 10 people injured, according to Ukrainian governor Oleg Synegubov.
In addition, a Ukrainian drone struck a bus in the Russian border region of Bryansk, injuring four individuals, as reported by the Russian governor.
Another incident reflects Kyiv’s forces targeted a multi-storey residential building in the Russian-controlled part of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in injuries to at least three people, as communicated by Yevgeny Balitsky on Telegram. The cycle of violence continues unabated, underscoring the ongoing tensions and human toll of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
